Existence of ground state solutions for a class of nonlinear elliptic equations with fast increasing weight

‎This paper is devoted to get a ground state solution for a class of nonlinear elliptic equations with fast increasing weight‎. ‎We apply the variational methods to prove the existence of ground state solution‎.

Existence and uniqueness of weak solutions for a class of nonlinear divergence type diffusion equations

‎In this paper‎, ‎we study the Neumann boundary value problem of a class of nonlinear divergence type diffusion equations‎. ‎By a priori estimates‎, ‎difference and variation techniques‎, ‎we establish the existence and uniqueness of weak solutions of this problem.

MULTIPLE NONNEGATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR BVPs OF FOURTH-ORDER DIFFERENCE EQUATIONS

First, existence criteria for at least three nonnegative solutions to the following boundary value problem of fourth-order difference equation Δ4x(t− 2) = a(t) f (x(t)), t ∈ [2,T], x(0)= x(T +2)=0, Δ2x(0)=Δ2x(T)=0 are established by using the well-known LeggettWilliams fixed point theorem, and then, for arbitrary positive integerm, existence results for at least 2m− 1 nonnegative solutions are ...

New existence results for a coupled system of nonlinear differential equations of arbitrary order

This paper studies the existence of solutions for a coupled system of nonlinear fractional differential equations. New existence and uniqueness results are established using Banach fixed point theorem. Other existence results are obtained using Schaefer and Krasnoselskii fixed point theorems. Some illustrative examples are also presented.

On a Class of Fourth-order Nonlinear Difference Equations

We consider a class of fourth-order nonlinear difference equations. The classification of nonoscillatory solutions is given. Next, we divide the set of solutions of these equations into two types: F+and F−-solutions. Relations between these types of solutions and their nonoscillatory behavior are obtained. Necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained for the difference equation to admit the...
